We've been busy at City Dogs, getting more killer 5-star reviews from some of our amazing guests, taking them on unforgettable private excursions to one of a kind places like the infamous Hole in the Wall -- one of Roatan's hidden gems. If you've never been there, it's worth it just to hear some of Captain Ed's stories. We all had a great time, played some games, had some snacks, went on a mangrove tour and then did some sailing.
Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, especially when the seas are as gorgeous and flat as they've been of late on the south side of the island. Ideally we'd like a smidge more wind, but we'll take it over extremely rough seas any day.
Esteban's been doing some diving, because when you're on an island surrounded by some of the most gorgeous reef in the world, it's practically obligatory to go diving. Waves are a little rougher over on the north side but right outside of Parrot Tree the diving is great and there's virtually no current. Just lots of great stuff to see.
People ask us all the time when we're diving or snorkeling What Are We Going to See? Now, there's loads of ways to answer that question -- but the truth is you never know what you're going to see. It's always a surprise! That's one of the things that makes going underwater so amazing, the variety and diversity of marine life is simply stunning. It's almost like, what aren't we going to see? Probably not many birds.
Whether you're coming to Roatan for a day, a week, a month or the rest of your life, you owe it to yourself to come sailing with us on one of our private charters. We've got several more day sails booked this month but it's looking good for a potential birthday trip in early February over to the pristine, islands of Cayos Cochinos for some diving, hiking and relaxation!
