City Dogs had an amazing Easter Sunday leisurely sailing up to Port Royal, where we had a nice time snorkeling around the Conch Cays and Lime Cay, followed by an amazing lunch of incredibly fresh, delicious red snapper ceviche at Mango Creek Lodge. They don't have a menu per se, just whatever they have prepared for the guests at their boutique resort. Neither of us are huge fans of ceviche but we decided to go with the flow and we were both pleasantly surprised with the tasty results prepared by Tita.
Mango Creek is only accessible by boat -- there are no roads that go there -- and they have a bunch of really cosy colorful cabins right on the water with a private beach. It really is a hidden gem -- tucked into one of the lesser traveled areas of the island.
We had a great conversation with Manny who runs Mango Creek and knows everything about the area and the people in it before pulling up the anchor and heading back down to Parrot Tree for the night in our new slip!
